Not just a pretty bridge, this one is the first and oldest suspension bridge in France, built and invented by Marc Seguin in 1849 to connect the town of #Tournon with Tain-L’Hermitage across the #RhoneRiver.
It’s obviously still in use, though ‘marching’ on it is strictly banned.
