Day 1 started at a Köln train station, pre-dawn, and ended with a deliriously tipsy waltz on the Danube. Somewhere in there, we saw some sights, and went in on a blind date with a premiere chef and sommelier. This place, guys. And this man. ❤️ #Honeymoon #Budapest

Day 5: A steepled church in the middle of a massive glacial lake, a thousand-year-old castle clinging to a jagged cliff, and a long bike ride to a magical hike in the most GORGEOUS gorge at the base of the Julian Alps. Oh! And the CAKE! #nofilter
Because sometimes you just feel like dusting off your trusty wax and seal and sending a monogrammed love note in a hand made envelope. 💌
Day 7: We hiked through a grillion-year-old limestone cave, carved by the underground river that still roars through it, flew down the highway between endless vineyards and olive orchards, swirled in the chilly Adriatic…but still, we’re really into sunsets right now. 📷 @davidrozenblatt #SkocjanJame #Istria #Croatia

Day 3: This stunning willow, a memorial near 12 mass graves, hangs heavy with its narrow leaves, each bearing the name of one of 600,000 Hungarian Jews murdered during the Holocaust. #treeoflife #memorial
Day 4: The train we originally booked no longer exists (🤔) so we’re off on an unplanned detour to Zagreb with all the beer we could stockpile using the dregs of our Hungrarian cash.
Day 2: And some nights, your husband climbs on a table to shoot from above because you’re in the mood for a high drama photo op on a foos ball table in a Jewish Quarter Ruin Pub. #DistrictVII

Day 8: We drove to the forest to hunt for truffles and this juggernaut was our biggest find! (That’s Betty, btw, one of the pups who sniffed it out).
