Lisa Ray Instagram – The power of scent: my soul sister @taramacleangrand sent me this beautiful message. She was one of the women I kept in mind when @the7virtues and I created #JasmineofIndia. Tara and I first met in Kerala during my @mokshayoga teacher training and #jasmine remains a powerful homage to all that #India represents in my life Let me start by saying that I don’t wear perfume. I only wear pure oils and usually mostly Amber. When my girlfriend told me she had created a perfume line, I was excited for her, but didn’t I think I would wear it. She sent me a bottle. I opened it up and the first scent That hit me was alcohol. I immediately put the cap back on, disappointed that I didn’t like the smell. What am I going to tell her? I can’t lie to a friend about something she created. So the bottle sat there for a few days, looking at me, and then I decided to actually spray it on my wrist. In a few seconds the smell of alcohol faded and what was left blew my mind. It is one of the purest scents of Jasmine that I’ve ever smelled in my life. I can’t stop smelling myself!
