Receiving An invitation to be the Chief Guest of the Onam 2016 celebrations of the Chicago Malayalee Association was a sudden something and also the actual motive of my U.S visit. It was such a pleasure to see the Chicago Malayalees celebrate the festival with much enthusiasm and vigour. Oh boy Was I delighted and nervous to go up on stage and address the lovely and welcoming crowd! Thereafter, watching the lovely programs conducted by the association and celebrating Onam in another continent was indeed a pleasure!
The beautiful roses placed next to me were presented on my arrival and I couldn’t resist but pose for a photograph with the lovely bouquet 😍
My Onam was one of the most memorable. Hope you guys had an amazing Onam this year. I know it’s late but still, Onam aashamsagal ✨
