Priya Bhavani Shankar, the actress who rose to fame with her leading role in one of the television serials has now signed a lead female role in one of the upcoming Tamil movies. She has got quite a number of fan followers almost in all social media websites. She started her career as a news reader in a leading Tamil News Channel.
She quit the news reader job to follow her passion in acting which she found in the television serial. After winning hearts and becoming the uncrowned queen of the small screen she decided to quit from the role too for unknown reasons. In her stint at the television serials she had however managed to become a familiar face among the Tamil audience and her name has become a household name for many of her fans. However she made her stand and quoted that she is in pursuit of good characters for making her debut movie.
It was reported earlier that she has been rejecting a lot of acting offers that came her way. She decided to wait for the right role and the right time for her. Now that she has agreed to do a project, the details of the other cast for the movie that she has signed are unknown. The makers are now planning to make an official announcement in a fortnight. The stage is all set for the small screen queen to rock the silver screen too.
