Happy Father’s Day to my dearest Papa whom I LOVE and MISS so dearly. I’ve been blessed with his good looks but sadly missed out on his sense of humour. He’d give me a mouthful every time I was a bad girl but he’d always make sure to come running after me just to apologise for that, he hated to see me cry or upset. He’d call from work every afternoon and ask me what Mummy cooked for lunch, if I was studying, making sure I wasn’t watching too much TV. There were times I’d hate taking the bus to college and I’d wake papa up just so he’d drop me, but he’d say he’s too sleepy and ask me to go on my own. I hated that! But he’d be sooo guilty that he’d wake up early the next morning and wait, just to drop me! I remember running into his room before he left to work just so I could get the whiff of his perfume.
The fragrance of his old spice after-shave still lingers here, somewhere .. I’d do anything to feel my Papa’s presence again.
A Happy Fathers’ day to all the amazing Fathers on this planet especially to my mother for being my papa since 2014. Thank you Mummy. ✨❤️
