A shot of me and David Yurman at his Madison Ave Jewelry store where we raised a good amount of money for @SU2C. I can’t thank him enough for having such an important event at his store and giving a percentage of what was sold. Everyone should donate to SU2C. This horrible disease affects everyone and it’s time we blew it away. #ad
My daughter and I just before we left for the #SAGAwards last year. Her career is really starting to take off and she’s not even out of high school yet. I won’t go all Dad on you, but I’m very proud of her. Our jobs as parents aside from loving them to death is to get them ready to go out in the world with confidence. I can say I succeeded. If this was paper you’d see a tear drop.
My 98-year-old Dad passed away last Christmas and my sister found this pic of the three of us. My sister and I were adopted and boy did we get lucky. I remember my parents led me to believe I picked her out. Hahahaha. That’s probably why I have such a big smile. Happy with what I got from the cracker jack box! #tbt
Just finished doing a ton of interviews with @jlo for the new season of #ShadesofBlue. It was great seeing Jen again and we saw the new trailer for the show and it truly looks great. I’m sure you’re saying, “What else is he going to say?” But I honestly mean it. I think this season is going to grab you and not let go. I’m proud of this show. I love working with Jen and the rest of the cast and I’m so happy to have the show runner Jack Orman and the big boss of it all, Bob Greenblatt. I’m a lucky guy to be surrounded by people who are all about the work. @nbcshadesofblue
Here I am in a 1950s story with me and @whoopigoldberg. A beautiful story about a widower who’s a piano playing jingle writer with a 7 year old daughter trying to raise her on my own until Whoopi comes in and steals both our hearts. It’s one of the movies I have to mention whenever I’m accused of “always playing the bad guy.” I thank Jessie Nelson the writer/director for casting me in “Corrina Corrina”
@jlo and I waiting for the #ShadesofBlue season 2 premiere on Sunday, March 5 at 10pm. @nbcshadesofblue
We’re getting closer to the new season of #ShadesofBlue, which I can guarantee makes the first season look tame. Sunday, March 5 at 10pm on @nbc. I hope everyone tunes in.
And he wasn’t happy about it at all. We almost came to fisticuffs.
The ONLY actress I ever fell for while shooting a movie!!!! @realmisspiggy. It’s true.
Myself and @djkhaled waiting for the cameras to roll for an @applemusic commercial. Why it only ran once, I’ll never know. Crazy business I’m in.
I can’t say much about season 2 @nbcshadesofblue, but there are twists and turns, and double crosses. I promise no one will be disappointed. It makes season 1 look tame. #shadesofblue
Another idol of mine is #RobertDuvall. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to work with him. We filmed John Q in Toronto and he never talked about acting, but about Peking Duck!! This is the God’s honest truth. He found a restaurant with Peking duck on the menu and he LOVED IT!!! “Loved” is an understatement. But man, what a great actor.
It’s getting closer. #ShadesofBlue
Congrats on the win last night @jlo! Well deserved. And thanks for the shout out in your speech. #PCAs
I never wanted to act and I didn’t follow film, but once I gave it a go, #AlPacino was at the top of the list of my favorite actors. I would literally get giddy when I knew an Al Pacino movie was coming out. I remember vividly seeing him in Pavlo Hummel on Broadway. From Serpico to Dog Day Afternoon I was mesmerized. When I was asked to do Son of No One I immediately said yes. He was part of an unbelievable decade of movie making. He was such a good person too. I’m sure he saw how giddy I was around him. He graciously invited me into his dressing where I questioned him nonstop about his movies and his thoughts during different scenes. When I left I was like on a high. It was a special afternoon that I’ll never forget. I never got a chance to thank him so here it goes, Thank You Al. Thank you for sharing some of your experiences with an actor who so admired you. Thank you for your insights and your kindness. And thank you @DitoMontiel the director of “Son of No One” for giving me the chance to act with one of my idols.
1 month until #ShadesofBlue premieres on @NBC. @nbcshadesofblue
#SHADESOFBLUE RETURNS SUNDAY, MARCH 5 AT 10/9C ON @NBC.
NARC, one of my favorite movies. it’s a gritty cop drama directed by @carnojoe, who at the time was a first time director and would be a force to reckon with. He knows his stuff like no other. I also did Smokin Aces with him. A great guy and a great director. I’d love to do it again with him.
If you’re at a dinner party and they’re serving brain… RUUUUNNNN! #Hannibal
Here’s a little tease of what’s to come in season 2 of @nbcshadesofblue. Starting Sunday, March 5 at 10:00pm on NBC. The love is deeper and the hits are harder. It will keep you coming back for more. Nothing brings out the bad in people when the stakes are this high. #shadesofblue
This is my favorite photo shot with Al Pacino by Phil Caruso. The best on set photographer in the business. Now that I’m writing it, I think I might have posted this already, but it bears showing again. I just love what Phil shot here, but I have absolutely no idea how he did it. I guess the still photography god intervened.
This is by far one of my favorite co stars, Tai. The movie was Operation Dumbo Drop. Horrible title. Great movie. We shot it for 4 months in Thailand. An absolutely beautiful country w/ amazing people. I loved getting up early to workout and see the monks pick up the people’s offering of rice to them. Loved it so much I got married there. Married in Thailand, divorced in LA. Now how Hollywood is that! #tbt
So cool! Portrait illustration by @melodiwithaneyeart.
Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Harry (my acting teacher) said, “Imagination is like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets.“ Everything in front and behind the lens is imagination. The more you use it the stronger it becomes.
