Dressed in a Kanjivaram Kalamkari by @shahgaurang , Kanakambaram flowers and a nose pin to match my Kundan jhumkas. I attended Kausalyam in Hyderabad..a platform curated by @shahgaurang & Crafts Council of Andhra & Telangana to bring together designers, their weavers & craftsmen from all over the country.

I always prefer direct texts to social media posts to express my feelings but today is an aberration…because @lubna.adam meeting you yesterday brought back memories … Memories from 12 years ago…before Parineeta …those mornings at Vini’s house when you’d make me walk with a book on my head and constantly remind me to smile unabashedly n unself-consciously.
I felt like saying THANK YOU yet again for all those mornings..for all the things you taught me..for all the confidence building..and for just being you..one of a kind..so cool & secure..not once making me feel that i owe you something in return for that..You are who you are and you have no need for that but you are a rare breed 🙂…hence the public gushing.Sorry if ive embarassed you.
And yes…im glad we took this picture because 12 years ago photos weren’t that big a deal.
