Five years ago today, @carebecc and I completed our 2800 mile road trip from Detroit to Los Angeles where we used old Route 66 (this plaque marks the end of it in Santa Monica). That trip will forever be one of my most cherished memories and I’m so happy to have forged our relationship with it, a relationship that continues to grow and strengthen every year ❤️ I love you, baby

This video doesn’t do them justice but I was BLOWN AWAY by the amazing funk band @thumpasaurusmusic last night. They played after a comedy show I went to and I wanted to stick around and just hear one song since they have a bari sax in the band, which I played for 8 years. They were SO EFFING GOOD that I stayed the whole set and risked getting towed to hear everything. Phenomenal technical musicianship and the singer gave me vibes of David Byrne, James Murphy, and Samuel T. Herring all in one. Each song was like a whole new show all in itself. Go find their music and listen to it. You will not regret it.
