The film we were all waiting for finally released and to such a fantastic opening – so thank you guys … However for the umpteenth time I read “why did you do such a tiny role? ” and here is why: cos as an artiste you also seek to work with people you respect and love . You believe in Their vision cos you believe in Them !! In turn you believe that this what you are in it for… Cos in the larger scheme of things… considering cinema is greater than all of us… aspects like screen time, is too trivial. So yes… I am proud and glad I got to be a tiny part of #humblepoliticiannograj .
Congratulations and thank you @saadkhanfilm @danishsait @hemanthrao11 @pushkara_mallikarjunaiah and @rakshitshetty for making this film happen for all of us . The process was enriching and an absolute riot ❤ ☺

Chilling before we started the panel at the India Today South Conclave (edition 2) . Anyway post those smiles we had a riveting and interesting conversation on a topic which I think is very important to address and reflect upon : “Sexism in Indian Cinema- Time to end patriarchy” and man, did we take off on all possible tangents. From the casting couch to the under representation of women in various aspects of Cinema and finally to how movies are a reflection of society and the prevelant mindset, gender bias and stereotypes … the panel was on a roll !

I have been thinking for a while now that it was a high time I gave myself my first scuba diving experience .. As a child I have been petrified of water, and never learnt to swim – which only increased my apprehension of attempting this. But when I really needed a change in perspective, my man @raamkumar_r and I took off to the one place in India which has the most picturesque seas and oceans – Andamans 😁 With a wonderfully planned travel package from @ventureout2009, day two in Havelock began with this experinece of a lifetime ! I tried finding all kinds of excuses from my existing cold, to my sinus issue, to my fear of not knowing to swim, until finally my curiosity won the battle and I decided to try and not die. After a quick training of 15mins and learning to breathe with just my mouth, next I knew , we were 17 meters below sea level and man !! Was it all worth it 😊 Yes it was another world altogether .. beautiful .. intriguing … peaceful… with an ecosystem existing in perfect harmony – So lost I was that I forgot to remind myself not to die… 😋
So to all of you out there who have been wanting try scuba diving… Do it now … don’t wait .. Cos trust me it’s worth every bit of that heart beat . And will I be doing this again .. most definitely yes 😎
