Veteran tamil novelist and short story writer Jayamohan has been roped in to pen the dialogues for the upcoming Vijay movie with director A.R.Murugadoss. Actor Vijay also fondly called as Thalapathy Vijay is joining hands once again with director A.R.Murugadoss for his next project which is reportedly being produced by Sun Pictures.
This marks the 62nd movie for Vijay in his career and also marks the third movie that he is collaborating with director A.R.Murugadoss after two hits “Kaththi and Thuppakki”. Academy award winning music director A.R.Rahman has been signed to compose tunes for the flick. Keerthy Suresh who has earlier paired with Vijay in the movie ‘Bairavaa’ has been signed to play the lead female role in the flick.
After all the updates about the cast and the crew, the director revealed that the movie will be a Diwali release in the year 2018. Veteran novelist Jayamohan had penned dialogues for movies like Kadal, Papanasam and 2.0 earlier. It is also said that he might be teaming up with actor Kamal Haasan again in the movie Indian 2 to pen the dialogues. Indian 2 is the sequel of the 1995 blockbuster Indian directed by Shankar. Shankar is said to handle the direction for Indian 2 too.
Speaking about the opportunity that got him his film, he said that he was approached by the director a year before and that his part of work in the movie is completely over. The movie is in its production stage now.
Rahman had said that he was excited to compose tunes for this Vijay flick as the situations that Murugadoss comes up with and the way he visualizes the songs amaze him. it is to be noted that Rahman’s latest collaboration with Vijay in the movie Mersal was lauded by audiences and critics alike.
