I don’t know yet, how to dress up in winters. -6° temperature in #Beijing and it was freezing cold. I took the challenge of walking up to my death route: the #greatwallofchina and believe me; so many times I contemplated if I should continue or not. Cuz the entrance itself was soooo freaking cold that my hands and my feet were numb and refusing to move. Although, I did end up buying some warm gloves and socks from the market at the entrance (it’s fun to bargain there cuz you can literally quote 1/10th price for the product and get away with it but Alas! I learnt that on my return😶)
But it wasn’t for any good!!

Swollen eyes like always. Jet lagged like always. But couldn’t get better than this. In love with this place. So Serene and peaceful. Met lovely people. Also witnessed a Japanese wedding. And also educated myself on their traditions and customs.
So apparently in Japan, after you get married; the husband gives you all the money in return of a small pocket money for himself.
Also you can show him the face palm🖐️ if he comes back home early and ask him to concentrate on his work. Also the husband and the wife have separate beds 😬
I am still sold on the first point and would love to get married in Japan if I get all that money from my husband😎
Not very sure if I would be that lucky though!!!
