So this happened few weeks back. Sonali was asked to act in the big boss ad directed by @kadhai_films with none other than Mr. Kamal hassan. The man has been one of my inspirations with his multiple talents, his dedication to his craft as well as the varied types of films he does instead of doing the same formula film. So it was ironic and surreal that @son_emk got to work with him! And even though I had met him on a couple of occasions before, for the audio launch of Megha, the difference was, this time I got a brief chance to see him work – to rehearse, to improvise, and be in his element. After the shoot, they took a group photo of the cast and crew and then Mahendran sir was gracious enough to introduce us personally to him. Major fan boy moment for me. Oh! BTW My wife acted pretty well too.. 😉

Yesterday my father in law went for heart bypass surgery. Courageous man that he is, he put up a brave face to the family so that he would not add to anyone’s worry. Even after the long day at the hospital that it was, my wife @son_emk managed to create this for #36daysoftype (something she has been doing for the last few years) for the alphabet C. When we packed into bed, my eyes were closing by 10:30 pm and she was drawing away. I told her to put it away since we had a tiring day and that today would also be a long day and that she needed the rest. She said to me ‘I have to do it, it’s dedicated to my father. C is for Courage…’ There was nothing to say after that so I shut up. #feels #fathersanddaughters

So here’s the 2nd last day of shooting #ithuvedalamsollumkathai. After 1.5 years of keeping the beard(except for getting married in between) I finally got to take it off with none other than director @rrathindran supervising!
