This Valentine’s Day was probably our least Valentine-y ever, and yet somehow, one of my favorites. It takes a special person to make cleaning up baby barf a romantic experience, but doggone it if she didn’t pull it off.

This woman. THIS WOMAN RIGHT HERE. I can’t fit into a caption how much she has achieved, and how much she’s grown, since last Mother’s Day (which is right after we found out that we would be expecting lil Rosie). Back then, we figured morning sickness and bedrest was gonna be the hardest part, especially after she went full beastmode during labor and delivery like it was nothing. But transition into motherhood has, of course, brought many challenges that have tested and stretched her to her limits. But they never broke her. She endured. I’ve always been proud to call this woman my wife, but now I get to add “mother of my child” to the repertoire of titles, and I’m SO pumped about it.
I love you more than all of it, Londy. Thank you for being the greatest mom for our daughter. She doesn’t fully know it yet, but she’s impossibly blessed. Happy Mother’s Day ❤👨👩👧
