One of the most touristy destinations in the entire world. People come here for different reasons with different expectations but by and large to experience the beauty and chilled out vibe of this place. Did Bali live up to my expectations? Or did it live up to its own hyped name?
Hell yeah!! Be it backpackers, or honeymooners;) couples or singles or girls trip or a large group of friends; surfers, divers ; yoga lovers ; mention any name and Bali will definitely have a place for you.
It’s for you to decide where do you wanna go in Bali, which part to stay in and what all to do. Cuz you gotto know one thing for sure that Bali is a big big big and even bigger than you can imagine, City! I mean, Big enough in a way; for you to find a zillion activities to do here. You can actually find a life here and I won’t be wrong to say that even a month is less to visit and enjoy Bali to the fullest.
Not many would find ubud happening but for me if you want to be closer to most of the picturesque temples or beautiful waterfalls or just drool worthy & insta friendly various swings; ubud is the right area to stop by.
If you wanna party or relax and chill at the beach, go to seminiyak or legion.
And if you’re still not tired and wanna party harder, go to Gili islands.
And if you’re water sports kind of a person and love surfing then Canggu is your place. And and and, if you love yoga and prefer eating healthy food (or may be vegan;)) then actually whole of Bali is a paradise for you.
There are still many places in my list which are left unexplored and I can’t wait to visit this place again. Hope so soon enough😇

Instead of a glorious picture in a wide angle with a majestic temple standing in between the waters, we chose to click this picture, where this spot was left alone by all the tourists. It was more like bees on a honey comb everywhere around where all the tourists came to the temple to pose and click tons of pictures.
Not even once I felt the need of being in any of those pictures. Rather, I asked Aadar to keep walking and explore the place which was huge by the way. And then we saw this spot standing alone right in front of the temple wondering why would people not want to come here and if the entry was restricted as this was the main entrance to the temple. Maybe because the tide was low and the water wasn’t covering the temple from this side or maybe because everyone wanted the elevated picture of showcasing the temple in between the waters. Whatever it maybe, we preferred walking down the gate and entering the path to the temple and clicking the beauty of this place as it is.

My morning walk looks like this…
Who says you need your track pants and sport shoes for a morning walk? When in Bali, expect to be stumbling upon these beautiful sights every now and then. And my suggestion: always be ready and geared up for a long walk; ie always be wearing a beautiful dress and look your best as you never know when would you get clicked. Also, chuck your everyday keds cuz barefeet is all you need to be to enjoy this wonderful walk!!!

Rice paddy fields🤩
Bali is embellished with beautiful stretch of rice fields in every other location and it is not difficult to witness this beautiful and vivid display of nature, in every kilometer you drive to. We actually were riding to a nearby chemist to find a sunburn medication and belive you me, I was in pain cuz this little 🌞 of a burn was hurting and itching like crazy and not only we had been driving and and spotting rice fields every where we had been in bali but also we had entered clicked pictures, and sat in a wonderful cafe right in the center of rice pad and had delicious coconut water. So basically, we had enjoyed and assimilated the gorgeous field of vision in its entirety. But but but… this beautiful location didn’t fail to impress aadar at all and infact he saw something more attractive in the way these flags were swaying with the wind. And like a perfect photographer companion, he stopped the bike and said: ‘Look….. I want you to walk in there and stand at that exact spot and you see those flags and you see the sky’ and this and that and an entire lala land story to finally convince me to forget my excruciating pain for a few mins to let him click this picture… I don’t know about y’all but for me, this picture certainly has a beautiful and kind of a painful😭 story behind it and I totally & completely love this picture😍
Let us know how do you guys feel about this picture.
