This time I wanted to obviously do something different so I thought about shooting to make the subjects look drawn , illustrated or painted . So when they were in snow I deliberately overexposed by 3 stops . All day , every frame – got to be brave and stick to your plans ! Then I used Lightroom to fiddle with the blacks , highlights , whites and shadows .

He is part of that ecosystem , he hunts and gathers sustainably , he lives in complete harmony with that environment . The forest , his family , his lifestyle and culture are all critically endangered .
