Sruthi Hariharan Instagram – For almost four decades he entertained and how!! His films, “Naagarahaavu” and “Masanada Hoovu” will remain an all time favorite. With a filmography of more than 200 films, this legendary actor enjoys a special place in Kannada Cinema and is much loved by his fans. His voice and opinions, were respected and mattered . Here are two pictures I share in the memory of Ambareesh Sir …. . . Photo 1 : Up until recently, all I knew of Ambareesh Sir was what I saw in his films, and heard from others . His last film which I was a part of too- #ambiningevaisaaitho gave me the opportunity to interact with him briefly and this was pretty much the first day I actually met him . Press meet of #ANVA. This is a special picture :) . . Photo 2: It was a difficult day… Many members of the chamber and a large part of our media did everything they could to shut me/us up😏 And, the one man who heard us out entirely was Ambareesh Sir. He seemed to understand the need for the movement and treated us with utmost respect in that meeting. It was great to know he supported us . I also believe that he saw the change, and the larger picture of what a movement like this could bring about …I couldn’t be more grateful to him (thank you @sruthi_hariharan_fc_army_ for sharing this moment😍) . And Sir, I know you hear me … I never got the chance to tell you this in person,but, thank you for the support and trust. 🙏 Thank you for enriching our kannada cinema with your films. RIP Ambareesh Sir . Through your art, you remain immortal….
