The incredible #SevenSummitsWomen.
Years ago I met a gang of girls in Nepal who had, together, climbed Mt. Everest. Their plan was to conquer the biggest peaks on the seven continents to inspire young women and to raise awareness. I stayed in touch and was blown away each year as they inched closer to, and then managed to reach, their goal.
Post the terrible earthquake in Nepal in 2015 a new focus started: To rebuild demolished schools. The girls made it their target to do this. My good friend Bojana Novakovic (@bojnovak) started the ‘B Project’ to help raise money toward their goal. This year we are continuing to assist Shaillee Basnet who is keeping that goal alive, along with a new initiative to train women survivors of trafficking.
