3 years ago I happened to be in Auroville for the same marathon. I wasn’t participating, I was watching everyone pour their heart and soul into reaching the finish line.
The tag line for the marathon was ‘Run for the joy of running ‘, it in a way changed my perspective about life in more ways than one.
When I hit the finish line this time, I couldn’t stop celebrating myself. ‘I’ did it and I did it for myself.

Walking around the holy Arunchala mountain has helped me get in touch with myself in a more intimate and ethereal way. Crossing each lingam in absolute silence was a treat to my psyche. I was able to mute the mundane and engage in a wholesome conversation with myself and everything that makes me, me. The circumbabulation has restored the balance between my physical and mental being. This journey was made even more special as it was a full moon day. The walk which started with these gifted souls at 3 AM ended with the most beautiful sunrise that I’ve seen till date. This experience had to be documented as photographs and shared with you beautiful people. I hope you find your balance just like I found mine.

Food, live music bands , games, upcycling workshops…It was an event for the community, to get together, share good moments and indulge in their love for nature. No fancy cars or flashy outfits, everyone cycled their way to the venue or took the community bus and carried no plastic with them. It feels great to know you’re amidst people who live consciously and take care of their surroundings, this truly is how the world should live. 🤓. We all danced away a great ‘Love A_fair, and how?! 🥰

I came across Vedic monk Maya Tiwari few years ago along my fathers cancer journey. Everyone affectionately call her ‘mother of ahimsa’ in her extraordinary service to humanity, mother has helped nourish, nurture and heal thousands of individuals and families.

When I’m busy shooting, I miss the simple everyday pleasures like cooking. I keep creating recipes in my head and rush back home to make (experiment) everyone’s tummy as happy as can be.
Here I am, enjoying a break from work and exploring my culinary talent. Seems like I am in a ‘kitchen time is my fav time right now’ phase!
Brekkie is served, off we go to prep lunch and dinner. 😋
Here’s the recipe:
Frozen Cacao green smoothie bowl; with granola. 🏵️ Frozen cacaos (freeze it for 2 hours or over night)
Lettuce
Frozen banana
Almonds
Soaked holy basil seeds or sabja (my fav alternative for chia seeds)
Coconut for base
Topped with pomegranate, granola homemade cashew butter, grated coconut and
all my favorite seeds.
