Lisa Ray Instagram – Repost from @aakanksha.a using @RepostRegramApp – Lingered an hour extra in bed today. Now basking in the mellow sunshine filtered through the blinds. The air is heavy with the smell of my favorite frangipani flowers, which is native to Bengal. Happily settled in the quietest corner at home. Waiting to devour flower-child @lisaraniray’s beautiful memoir, @closetothebone.book a second time, with a cup of adrak chai. Or Cha, as they say here in #Kolkata. The book is such a honest, vulnerable, funny and compelling read. If I could put it in one word – it’s reflective. Reading it again, so that the words can really sink in. Read it way too fast and greedily the first time around. I love the unhurried pace of life in Kolkata that allows for simple induldenges like this. Live for langurous mornings like this.
