Adoption can be a wonderful thing – but make sure you are ready for the responsibility. A lot of times the dogs that are surrendered to the shelter are because folks didn’t go in with “eyes open” about the responsibility of caring for a living being. LA city shelters are already over capacity and will get even worse today and through the weekend. *We will not be able to keep all the animals alive due to the amount coming in*. Keep your animals inside! Stay home with them! Give them something (like music) to calm them down. Take care of your family and be safe.
