Dear Joshua,
First of all, before you pretend, I want you to know that I know. I do and I am sorry that it happened to you. Funny, isn’t it? I’ve always been told girls were unsafe. Never crossed my mind boys are too. I wish I could change the past. But, we are not magicians, are we?
We too are helpless human beings, sometimes. Most of the time.
And you taught me one most important lesson. We fall apart. We all do. We become indifferent. To the people we care about, and to the people who care about us. We just become distant. Not because we don’t love them. But because we do. Because we are raging a thousand battles within ourselves. Because we are so busy fighting our own demons that we often turn a blind eye to the angels who stay.
Jenny was one such angel, Joshua. I don’t know what made you change from a loving, caring brother who found his life in his little sibling even before she was born, to a stranger who didn’t know her at all. May be it was the battle I was talking about before. I don’t know. So I am letting it be.
May be she was there in that van or may be you wanted her to be there, so that you both could do everything you dreamnt of doing together. I am no one to say that you imagined her. She was there for you when you needed her the most. As a friend, a sister, a partner in crime, an adviser and more.
I see them too. Sometimes when I am stuck, when I feel unloved the most, when I feel like I can’t find the road, when I am too tired to hold the sword, when I need a shoulder, when I refuse to believe that they are gone.
You know what? I sometimes wonder if Jenny really existed at all. I’m not sure. I imagine stuff too. So not gonna go there.
So, all what I want to say is Thank You. For everything you taught me even in your silence. I don’t want to say much. I’ll stop now.

Lohi Sir! The greatest actor trainer I’ve worked with..and undoubtedly one among the finest writers Indian cinema has seen! We were just months away from starting our 2nd film together. Malayalam cinema and I will continue to miss you sir.
Rest in Peace M.J. Radhakrishnan chettan. One of the finest cinematographers I’ve worked with and an absolute gem of a man. Can’t help the feeling that there was so much more you had to give to cinema. We will miss you forever!
