Have heard a lot about ‘The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters’ by Balli Kaur Jaswal… and that’s why it’s the next book for SBC! It’s a poignant story of three Punjabi sisters who embark on a pilgrimage to their homeland to lay their mother to rest. As someone with two sisters myself, I’m looking forward to see if there are similarities between fact and fiction… and I think I’m going to make them read this one too.
So let’s get to it. Oh… and I’m excited to share that our book of the month is also available on @storytel.in, our audiobook partners, giving us another immersive way to experience this story.

I’m still a student at the modern Gurukul of parenting… But I’m glad I could share my experiences with the parents and teachers at @jamnabai.narsee.school. As I’ve always said before, every child is unique and that’s why every parent’s journey is unique.
I hope my parenting experiences were helpful… And I know for a fact that more lessons are coming my way soon, as we navigate the tricky territory of the teenage years!
