On a gloomy Sunday here is some brilliant news. For the first time ever, in a field of 9 international teams, the #IndianWomensRugby team has snatched silver at the #AsiaRugby7s championships!! They only lost narrowly to the Philippines out of all their matches. The #IndianMensRugby team came 5th out of 11 teams. I have said this before, I will say it again, watch out for the #IndianWomensRugby team on the world stage in 10 years. After #GullyBoy this episode feels beautifully inevitable. ‘It’s in me, because I am Hip Hop’, the energy with which Ace recites this line during his rap cipher encapsulates his life perfectly – rap, music, soul talk.
Watching it live was invigorating because it was so unpredictable. Travelling across the country to #CelebrateGenuineMoments, I got a chance to discuss the crew members’ unique stories and if staying independent and underground to create music and rap is still possible in this day and age. One of the most uniquely landscaped urban properties I’ve seen, the @vivantawhitefield makes for a great night training (in brilliant Bangalore weather – cool, breezy) space. From the wooded pathway in the middle of the pool, up the stairs of the outdoor lounge, then up the terrace lawn all the way to the top of the structure.
