Today is a day to raise awareness of the skin condition to tackle misconceptions around the world, the most important misconception is that it is contagious, which it is not.

My wife Salama has had vitiligo since she was a little girl, and it is a part of her, a part of her that I love just as much as anything else, and I am proud of who she is, what she stands for, and how she uses her platform to continue to raise awareness.
