I feel horrified and helpless at the same time. Anger, outrage, disbelief, fear – it’s an unending stream of emotion. There’s also some guilt that I’m not doing enough to help solve the problem. In fact, I don’t know what to do at all. Do you? We’re all just sitting around hoping we’re not next. My heart goes out to Priyanka’s family and their unimaginable pain. It’s so awful that when her parents went to the police station they were greeted with nothing but apathy. I struggled with posting anything at all because how many times can I say #EnoughIsEnough when I know in my heart nothing will change until there is some significant edit to our justice system.
