Meet Pintu, the love of my life!
You guys must have already seen him in some of my stories and probably wonder how obsessed I am with him( that’s true though :p) .
Here’s a lil back story…
I adopted a cat from my vegetable vendor( remember I posted a poster of a missing cat? That was her- Kittu). Kittu was a beautiful, kind cat, I’ve always been a dog person though but something about her made me fall for cats too. She used to stay at the vegetable vendor’s shop and at my place, I did get her vaccinated etc though one day she left from the vegetable vendor’s shop( I’m sure to conquer the world cz she was born a queen❤️) though that left me heart broken. .
I adopted Pintu from @blue_cross_rescues on 02-03-2019 when he was just two months old. I got him vaccinated on 05-03-2019 yet after 10 days of his arrival he was diagnosed with panleukopenia ( it’s like cancer for cats, has no cure and only 10% cats survive through it). I didn’t want to loose him, not again, I went to see so many doctors, called so many, just to find the right treatment cz we only had 3 days and he couldn’t eat or drink anything. Committed to my work as well, I juggled between taking him to the clinic for IV so that he stays hydrated, attending events( cz I had given my word) and cleaned the house over and over again cz there were cat vomits all around. I managed this only by skipping my meals, but I wasn’t hungry anyway, I just wanted him to survive, I just wanted him to be healthy. .
AND HE DID ❤️ 3 o’clock in the morning is when I realized that he is finally recovering, after days of love, care and right treatment, pintu fought the viral and chose to be with me :’) and emerged as a strong willed warrior kitten.🐈

Hence the unconditional love I have for him ❤️. There is so much more I could write but its a feeling that cannot be put into words and nor do I want to, I’d like to keep it to myself. .
PS: those of you who read the entire thread, thankyou :’) this is something very personal to me( I was teary eyed while typing) and I’m glad it moved you in some way ❤️

Happiest Birthday to the BEST man ever . From brushing my teeth when I couldn’t even reach the bathroom slab to teaching me the most valuable life lessons, you have given me the best of everything. You set the standards so high and made sure that your daughter never settles for anything less in life. You taught me not only discipline but also made sure I know that it’s equally important to have fun and make memories because in the end that’s what you remember. . I’ve always been fascinated by how calm and composed you are and I’m yet to learn a lot lot lot more from you. You made sure your daughter has a strong technical mindset and you’ve made her so self independent and self reliant, whatever I am today, my confidence to take over the world, my logical mindset, my light brown eyes, it’s all because of you, all because of your belief in me, even when I didn’t have faith in myself, you did. .
And only recently I was enlightened with the fact that you yourself were in Drama and did theater as an extra curricular during your college days and you’ve out performed so many artists by winning state level award twice, this fact only made my faith stronger that I’m meant to fullfil our dreams. I love you Papa, I always have and I always will ❤️
