I’m not just saying that because I grew up eating her food or that she was like a daughter to my grandfather and he taught her everything he knew or that the best taco meat in the world is his very special recipe. It’s just simply the best and I’ve waited way too long (15 years) to come home and taste it again. It was exactly the way I remembered it. The tamales, tacos, taco burgers, the meat sopapillas – all with green chile – and of the course the plain sopapillas with honey are just a few of my favorites.
