I always pay close attention to her cues, trust me, she’s not in this position 24/7! When she is sleepy, hungry, or just done playing, I turn her around. In the second pic you can see she peacefully sleeps in her carrier till I get to a space when I make her lie down! My Soul Carrier been a life saver and I wish I had this during my first year with Hans! @soulslings_india #happytogether .

Breastfeeding Post Alert for Moms🎈My experience? I’d like to tell you that till you start solids it will be a bit taxing because you have to feed a lot esp in the beginning months. It gets fairly easy at 6 months 🍼 the night feeds for some moms like me continue so bye bye sleep 💤 I’m still struggling with that. It also can make you eat more to battle fatigue so watch out for the weight gain.
My best advice is feed anywhere and everywhere .🌴 Don’t feel awkward : use a feeding cape and just be comfortable. I’ve fed in restaurants, cars , parks , friends houses etc . I don’t give a damn because I want to be active and I want to have a life . Also I don’t make it a big deal in my head and that’s the trick to keep going with BF your baby. 💃
please don’t feel pressure because it is mental pressure itself that emotionally drains you while BF your baby. 🧘🏼♂️
I again say that giving a combination of BM and/or formula or only formula if you choose for various reasons is completely your choice . Nothing wrong with it . Yes it is said BM is a superfood for babies but that being said my mom breast fed me only a few months and I think I turned out just fine 🤩

For mommies interested in her diet ! Nyra is almost 7 months . I started feeding her about 6 weeks ago! I started with only purées of avocado 🥑 ( raw soft mashed without the pit) I gave her that to begin with and it worked really well . I then introduced single semi liquid purées that need to be steamed and puréed – pear / apple / pumpkin / sweet potato / carrots . You can directly purée papaya / avocado / bananas. These are all@great first foods ! I also introduced ambemohar rice after a few days of weaning that is super nice for babies . I cook till very soft and then used a big eye sieve to give it a nice texture . ( @mumbaimummy this was a great tip thank you ) Moong Dal is very light so works well to start with rather that other dals. I make it with the rice sometimes or just on it’s own. ( I add pinch of hing and jeera powder ) FYI I don’t use any fancy steamers . Just a simple pressure cooker with a steel bowl inside . I do not add salt or sugar . Use your instinct when it comes to feeding . What the baby will love today they will fuss about tomorrow. But just don’t stress about it . It’s imp to continue the Breast Milk and /or Formula . My BIG TIP . I play the same song At every meal . It makes her comfortable and she knows it time to eat ! ❤️😃
