For mommies interested in her diet ! Nyra is almost 7 months . I started feeding her about 6 weeks ago! I started with only purĂ©es of avocado đ„ ( raw soft mashed without the pit) I gave her that to begin with and it worked really well . I then introduced single semi liquid purĂ©es that need to be steamed and purĂ©ed – pear / apple / pumpkin / sweet potato / carrots . You can directly purĂ©e papaya / avocado / bananas. These are all@great first foods ! I also introduced ambemohar rice after a few days of weaning that is super nice for babies . I cook till very soft and then used a big eye sieve to give it a nice texture . ( @mumbaimummy this was a great tip thank you ) Moong Dal is very light so works well to start with rather that other dals. I make it with the rice sometimes or just on itâs own. ( I add pinch of hing and jeera powder ) FYI I donât use any fancy steamers . Just a simple pressure cooker with a steel bowl inside . I do not add salt or sugar . Use your instinct when it comes to feeding . What the baby will love today they will fuss about tomorrow. But just donât stress about it . Itâs imp to continue the Breast Milk and /or Formula .
