@aarondessner @postmoderndrummer and I lived a couple blocks from here in New Orleans almost 25 years ago. Many of our earliest experiences learning to play music were in this incredible city. We are finally back to perform for only the second time in the history of @thenational tonight at @voodoonola

15 years ago I started a small music festival in our hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the years we have grown with it and it has evolved and shifted with all the beautiful music and people that came through town. It remains a huge part of my creative life and it’s an honor to present all these incredible artists this year @musicnowfestival along with my band @thenational and the @ntlhomecoming festival which is on Friday and Saturday, Music Now events will also run throughout the weekend with a huge marathon of 11 concerts on Sunday in and around Washington Park. Tickets on sale tomorrow morning!
