Was saddened to hear, 1 in 5 girls drop out of school at the onset of something as normal as periods.
I think it’s time to change this. I have decided to ACT.
I am partnering with Whisper and starting the #KeepGirlsInSchool challenge.

While shooting for #Durgavati here, I realized that Bhopal is a very environmentally conscious city. The administration and citizens together have made it the Cleanest Capital City 👏🏻 . Yesterday, I met a few #ClimateWarriors : Zaid and Zeeshan brothers, who’ve with the help of the administration made a selfie point with over half a ton of plastic waste that they collected through various PLASTIC DONATION CENTRES throughout the city. This is so impressive! The only way we can battle plastic pollution is this – recycling and up cycling it – art installations, roads, clothes etc.

Guys, recently I came across something that shocked me to my core. 1 IN EVERY 5 GIRLS drop out of school when their periods start! And the worst thing is that this happens around us, and WE DON’T EVEN NOTICE.
I mean, can you even imagine not having a future because of something as normal as periods?! This video has been an eye-opener for me.
