Cheat day today 😋
Just visited @ncinagpur (NCI) on the outskirts of Nagpur, a comprehensive cancer care centre with a focus on preventive oncology. So impressed with the infrastructure, the team of medical experts and the approach to cancer care. The pace at which it is being developed is just fantastic.
On Women’s’ Day last year, they launched आयुष्मती, a programme where women aged 40 and above could avail free Cancer Screening Sessions throughout the year. So glad to be part of their one year celebration.
This is a great initiative to provide quality cancer treatment to all strata of society. The fight against cancer cannot be won alone and it needs a very strong support system and constant care.
Like I’ve always said, early detection helps and a centre like this can help facilitate that for everyone.
Kudos to Dr. Anand Pathak, Shailesh Jogelkar and @devendra_fadnavis and the entire team at NCI for your amazing work. Thank you Vikas Oberoi & @gayatrioberoi for making me a part of this. National Cancer Institute Nagpur

So happy to announce my association with the @cuddlesfoundation as a #FoodHeals Collaborator.
The work they do with children fighting cancer is truly commendable.
As someone who has been through this, I was fortunate enough to have the means for quality healthcare and nutrition. Childhood cancer is different and largely curable but the lack of nutrition prevents kids from getting better. Cuddles Foundation’s mission is to provide children with the right food and nutrition needed. So happy to contribute to the cause and am really looking forward to work with Cuddles’ team.

Too many children are missing out on the chance to reach their full potential of reading, only because they don’t have a book of their own at home. Time and again, we have seen people change children’s lives just by sharing the love of books! If we want kids to read then the most important thing we can do is give them books and let them explore the magical world that it is! #ValentinesDay is also on #InternationalBookGivingDay! So let’s give a book and share the love!
