I have a huge artist crush 😍 I took a class on working with Resin (the super cool material these pieces are made with) right before lockdown. So when I saw Rosas pieces I was instantly obsessed. Resin is such a cool medium. Rosa is also a fellow Mexicana so that just makes her even cooler! Thank you Rosa for these stunners! Praying for the world right now. New York is especially heavy on my heart as the news just keeps getting worse. I have so much love for this city. My fondest memories are of when I lived there. Praying for every single person on the island. Praying for the super heroes on the front lines. The doctors, the nurses, the new med school grads being thrown in to a nightmare. For the firemen, the volunteers… the patients fighting for their lives and their families unable to be with them. ⠀ ⠀ It’s so hard just doing our part to stay home. I wish I could be doing more. I wish I was a medical professional but the truth is I don’t know if I would be brave enough! To handle the emotional weight of what’s going on alone would crush me. Thank you super heroes.⠀ ⠀ Not trying to be negative. Just my true thoughts right now. Trying to limit the amount of news I take in but it’s so hard not to stare… ⠀ ⠀ Stay safe home, stay safe friends! I’m praying for all of you ❤️
