The strength of the human spirit is what inspires me. I am so grateful to @leonardodicaprio and Lauren Powell Jobs for showing up and doing their part to create #AmericasFoodFund. Feeling grateful that I’m able to do my part and contribute to this fund where 100% of donations go to @FeedingAmerica and @WCKitchen.

“Look what had to happen”
This is for the people who need to hear this not for the ones who don’t. Please don’t be overly critical as it leads to people being scared to speak out which equals silence which is deadly. He is coming with this message from a place of love and that is what the mission is LOVE❤️
I am profoundly sad that I see still…STILL ..on my feed….all lives matter…take a moment take a deep breath before you get defensive and react to these words you see here in this picture….read the caption below… black lives are not valued in this country and though you may not understand everyday is a day to turn your energy around and see that people are in pain and educate yourself as to why…. the black lives matter movement is not about you … it’s about black lives and they have a right to value their lives just as you value yours… try love try compassion…it feels better than anger… I promise ❤️

I love this question… how are you raising your children? It is not enough to denounce racism. … your friend circle and life circle must represent the values you stand for. Your children cannot learn that all people are equal unless they and you …have all types of people in their lives …and are seeing examples of all different types of people in their lives …. books they read tv shows movies they watch….expand your experience….. and their experience. This applies not only to race but religion sexual orientation… people whohave disabilities …..often what is unfamiliar feels different and feeling that people are different could very easily and very often does lead to feelings of superiority as we see in a lot of white people. We must make sure we are giving our kids the proper message by starting with our lives first. This is our work and this is something we can do right now this is something we have to do right now. This problem isn’t going to fix itself…..With peace and love XO E P

No words…… @seekellymccreary It has taken a few days since I first read Breonna Taylor’s name for my mind and body to shake out of the trauma response of freezing up. It was too much. Two victims in one week? How many more? When will it stop? But I must not feel so overwhelmed as to fall silent. And if we grow numb to these killings, white supremacy wins. We must #sayhername as loudly and as often as it takes to bring her killers to justice. #BreonnaTaylor. #BreonnaTaylor. #BreonnaTaylor.
RePost• @sarahsophief Breonna Taylor was an award-winning EMT and first responder in Lousiville, KY, who loved helping her patients and her community. “She was an essential worker. She had to go to work,” her mother, Tamika Palmer said of her dedication to standing on the frontlines of this pandemic. “She didn’t have a problem with that.”
Neither the Louisville Metro Police nor Mayor Greg Fischer have given her mother any answers. “Not one person has talked to me. Not one person has explained anything to me,” Tamika Palmer, Taylor’s mother, said in an interview. “I want justice for her. I want them to say her name. There’s no reason Breonna should be dead at all.”
*THE DEMANDS:
1. Demand the Mayor and City Council address the use of force by LMPD.
2. Fire and revoke the pensions of the officers that murdered Breonna.
3. Provide all necessary information to a local, independent civilian community police accountability council #CPAC.
4. Create policy for transparent investigation process due to law enforcement misconduct.
TAKE ACTION TO HELP HER MOTHER GET ANSWERS & GET THEIR DEMANDS MET:
POST about Breonna, using the hashtags #BreonnaTaylor and #JusticeForBre. Her story has yet to receive the national attention it must to cause local systems to respond. Share her story, images of her smiling face, and tag the responsible parties. On Twitter, use @LMPD, @LouisvilleMayor, and @GovAndyBeshear. On Instagram, use @LMPD.ky, @MayorGregFischer, and @GovAndyBeshear. We can not stop until she receives a response.
MAKE CALLS & SEND EMAILS for Breonna to the investigative agencies, institutions and individuals in charge and make the demands known!

It is not the job of black people to have to teach us how to love ….yet they continue to try to teach us despite being exhausted despite seeing no change they continue their pursuit of peace. I cannot sit by …NONE of us can sit by and not do the work that is OURS. We created this problem…WE need to put in the work. We also should be so grateful that our fellow humans continue to help us to do our job to dismantle this mess we have made. Moving through life with love and gratitude ❤️ 🙏🏼 Thank you @ivirlei
