On the last day of Suits, I go on a tour of my husband’s trailer and find all kinds of surprises. #GabrielMacht #suits #trailerlife
This is what happens when you spend too much time inside the house. We’ve been trying on new looks. I was surprised by this one from @iamgabrielmacht at first, but I must say, it’s growing on me. Thoughts? Improvements? Suggestions? Still in the early stages of adaptation so all input is welcome. #vsco #vscogirl #quarantinelife #exploremore @suits_usa
Nine years of racing down the @suits_usa stages….One last sprint to the finish line. #almostover #toronto #sayinggoodbye
Home This is an artist rendering of the fires. NOT A PHOTO. The image is true to scale, to help people visualize what has burned from December 5 2019 to January 5 2020. The mountains and rough landscapes are intentionally exaggerated. It was made with 3D mapping.

Shimmering grass, a fly bite on my finger and a bunny wagging her white tuft at me with a sexy shrug, I’m here. I’m writing to you and you’re reading and in these seconds we are, across oceans and mountains, languages and cultures entwined. You. Me. Us. Tell me where YOU are? Do we stand far from each other? #connected #distance #newyork
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. #nevertooyoung to #meditate
These words are from Audre Lorde’s essay, ‘Apartheid U.S.A.’ It was written in 1985, but could be a rallying cry for today.
Reading is a beckoning, a summons, tearing at calcified beliefs. Audre Lorde, Hilton Als, Maya Angelou, Margo Jefferson, James Baldwin, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Claudia Rankine and so many more have stalked their solitude and their streets that we may question our own unseeing. In this time of vital consciousness raising, I turn again to them. Pulling old books and new and asking what more they have to say, what more I should know, should do. What books, essays, poems, music and films have influenced you, pushed at you and spoken painful truths? Speaking, as Audre Lorde said to the part of each of us that “refuses to be silent.” Please share them..whatever hits you, ignites you. “We are caught in an inescapable web of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all directly.” -MLK
Where we put our feet counts. Where we put our minds, our bodies, our hearts count. The businesses we invest in matter. What we bear silent witness to matters. Watching harmless prejudice, shrugging it off with a laugh or a turning away counts. Continued, sustained change, unraveling prejudice, holding ourselves accountable… moment by moment by moment by moment.
