Home Actress Lisa Ray Instagram Photos and Posts – June 2020 Part 3 Lisa Ray Instagram - This is the right time to revisit #PhoenixRising one of my favourite collaborations. This sari and Choli were conceptualised and designed to evoke the old rising from the ashes myth, which really isn’t a myth but a very human skill which is called upon again and agin. Enjoyed working with @Satyapaul on creating this capsule line and of course it has special resonance today.

Lisa Ray Instagram – Time to turn toward ourselves with a kind embrace.
Lisa Ray Instagram – The last few months have been a time of radical groundlessness and deep disturbance. In these times, there’s a tendency to get caught up with panic and worry storylines which are futile in times of uncertainty- Pema Chodron talks about embodied practise as an antidote. To calm the disturbing emotions and churning, tune into your body. What are you feeling in this moment? Where is the anxiety in your body? It is a hot ball in your stomach? A tightness in your chest? Getting curious with these sensations will help lead your mind away from the storyline. Where you place your attention is where your thoughts will run.
I’ve also been tuning into my breath. Sometimes a few minutes of deep, conscious breathing – a count of 4 in, hold for 4, then 4 out- will help calm both your nervous system and your mind.
I’ve been listening to podcasts by @soundstrue and @onbeing doing daily mediations with @nithyashanti on his #Rigpacourse
Conversations with friends led me back to some incredible meditation teachers like @thichnhathanhsangha @jack_kornfield @sharonsalzberg @pemachodron and @tarabrach and has me revisiting their books like #RadicalAcceptance and #WhenThingsFallApart
What sort of circuit breakers do you need in your head (as one friend put it)
Really there’s no single way to gather yourself and heal during this time, but whatever path your chose, do it with self compassion ❤️
