Rose Byrne Instagram – thinking of my friend Helen O’Keeffe today who is a nurse in the labor and delivery ward at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Helen assisted delivering my two children. She and her incredible colleagues put their lives at risk every day delivering babies to mothers that are now showing to be positive for Covid-19. Helen is also a childbirth educator with a fantastic organization Fledgling Families that helps families prepare for their newborns which is now operating remotely. She and her team are on the front line dealing with some of the most vulnerable – pregnant women and newborns. with these new restrictions in place with visitations their roles are even more crucial as they are the family and the friends.
