I was delighted to finally get to the ‘secret’ spots or hidden gem that everyone seemed to knows about.Jungle Beach is a pretty bay just west of Unawatuna. .
It’s a pleasant, hilly 2-km walk from Unawatuna; access by road is only via a side lane from the highway. Tuk-tuks charge Rs 400 from Unawatuna.

Friday evening! What’s your plan?
I used to be that girl who had to have a plan every Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Yes I was alone traveling a lot but see then also I was out in the world. Staying home alone was a fear for me. I could never stay home alone for more than an hour. I always needed a plan. Even when I wanted to read a book, I went to a cafe to read.

There is ALWAYS something to be grateful for!! There have been periods in my life where I hit rock bottom and writing a list and sending it to a friend helped me through. Sharing the list with a friend forces us to write it on days we don’t feel like as we are answerable to someone. So pick a friend to do this with and send it to me too please! “When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”
