When I was going through my world cinema phase and discovered #martinscorcese and #taxidriver . As you can see, the films themes of obsession was lost on me but I was in a dark place back then myself. I never posted a mother’s day message partly cause we celebrated it in real life and I didn’t get on social media much that day. I feel too often it seems like we appreciate people only on the designated days. So I’m trying to make more of an effort to celebrate the good things in my life when I feel like it. I shot this photo of Sonali and Avira going up to the terrace to get some fresh air. It looks like a mass hero shot and deservedly so. @sonxemk balances so many things..her painting, work and tirelessly doting on our daughter and waking up multiple times at night at the smallest sound to check to see if she’s alright. ❤️ Mother’s day everyday

Saddened to hear about Mr.Irffan Khan. Was always fascinated by how much he expressed so much with so little..a glance, a smile. He was a rarity amongst indian actors and showed you a true actor could carry his own film as a protagonist or be a supporting actor in some one else’s story. An inspiration to me for his body of work. My condolences to his family for their loss, may his soul rest in peace.
