Excited to do my own hair for the show tonight! This episode is gonna have some surprises #snlathome
Me Akiva Liz and Slamberg at Tivoli in Copenhagen during our first years at SNL when we used to all go on random trips together on off weeks. As you can tell from my shirt I had just joined the Danish navy. (Or more likely Old Navy) Photo credit @sethmeyers who kept us alive
My favorite observation from last episode, even among my fellow cast members, was: “Great job including the guitar, douchebag.” This might sound incomprehensible but I did not know it was on the couch, let alone perfectly framed behind me. I have never, nor do I pretend to play, the guitar. Nor do I physically understand how it works. I just Mr Magoo’ed into having a guitar behind me. Anyway, we have a show in 15 minutes. I’m excited. Hmmm might even strum this guitar a little… Ooooooo YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A SUBMARINE. DEEP AND LETS EXPLORE. Anyway Part Two, it’s our show!
Forgot this was a phase in my life
Whoa! But for real??
Doing some last minute shows in SAN FRAN, MONTEREY and NAPA next week if you’re anywhere nearby
Hey @aaronrodgers12 if you’re cold tomorrow night I have a sweater you could borrow. #ItDefinitelyWontTryToMurderYou #Relax #IZOD #ad #ICouldPlayNFL #IChooseNotTo
One of the last things Hal Willner sent me was this photo of him from the first year of SNL in 1975. He said he was the youngest person working at the show when it started (versus this year when he was “the fourth oldest”). Hal never forgot how weird and fun and random and misanthropic SNL was in the 70s and he was one of the last people who kept that spirit alive at our show. But he wasn’t some crabby old guy who hated what “the kids” like. He loved talking about new bands and new movies and any ideas that felt fresh. He was a sweet and inclusive person who made you feel cool when you got to hang out with him. He knew the most interesting people in New York and they all loved and admired Hal. The second photo is Hal making a Keith Richards puppet look at his Julian Schnabel sweatshirt, which is pretty much Hal in a nutshell. He sent that to me with zero context. Hal, I love you and I miss you.

Fox News thinks this memo is “Christmas” and they dressed appropriately
This has zero to do with politics, but the way she said “steak” really made me laugh
