Jessica Rothe Instagram – Words cannot even begin to express the heartbreak I feel for what is happening. No one should ever have to face this kind of hatred, racism, and bigotry. No one should have to live with the fear that the color of their skin makes them a target to the people and the institutions that are supposed to protect them. But sadly, as we have seen time and time again, this is a daily reality for members of the black and brown community. It is hard to speak up, to know what to say, but it is only through action and dialogue that we will find a way to move forward towards a more compassionate and equal world. Over the next few weeks it is so important that we aren’t distracted by biproducts of these events but that we focus on and fight against the core issues – racial inequality and police brutality. I stand with my friends of all colors against racism, bigotry, hatred, and violence. I stand and support your fight. Our fight.
