Lisa Ray Instagram – I tried water skiing once in the Caribbean but couldn’t manage to stay up for even 3 seconds so while my way cooler (and more competitive) friends sped away on foamy waves, I got into a conversation with one of the boat men about tax havens and how no jet lag is the mark of a good conscience. (Which doesn’t say much about me.) I had a lot of time to ruminate on these things while the sun set, as unbeknownst to me, my free wheeling friends had already docked and were ordering rum at an expensive bar. This is one of the many ways in which I’m not cool, but emotionally deep and rarely embittered by being left behind. Because, you know, sunsets and stories are my thing.
