Nyla Usha Instagram – As a kid, as a teenager, I always felt being tall was some kind of a disability. I was(is)probably the tallest woman in my maternal wing. Only to remember the awkward moments at family gatherings when you overhear someone say, she is a good girl, but tall🙄! I started to stoop, adjust and look less noticeable at gatherings, to avoid being commented upon.But then that moment of pride! when you help your mom open the topmost kitchen cupboard!😅 . Of the many things Dubai gifted me, I am forever thankful to this city for helping me embrace myself for who I am. I realised that being tall was a blessing and not a curse! Today I love everything about me,( once hated), my length my width, my skin, my voice…. and that’s how I learned to love others for what they are ! #standingtall like the city I live in!
