Children of the Revolution – All 1.5 MILLION OF YE!! 💥🎗❤️ Whooop! I been learning, about our single use plastics. We’re currently on track for 9 TRILLION TONS of it to go in the ocean this year. 9 TRILLION fucking tons ?? We are poisoning our lovely little planet. And very quickly. That‘s a legacy I don’t want any more part of. It’s too soul crushing. I’m having a look at my own life and seeing what it’s costing our lovely planet. I would love to pass along our lovely planet in a healthier state than we received it. Easier said than done of course, but from now on I’m doing my little bit by – Avoiding single use plastics (as much as physically poss) – Buying from companies that have come up with lovely organic alternatives to plastic (cleaning products / food storage / water / whatever ) – Showing off occasionally for decent organisations that are trying to stem the enormous tides of poisonous waste – Signing petitions to pressurise our lovely government officials, to demonstrate to them en masse (i hope) that it’s no longer acceptable like this – I love being alive, it’s very interesting, and we are allowing convenience, to threaten our very existence and prosperity and for why ? Apathy ? There’s a million things to be concerned about these days, a lot of things vying for our attention, but with a few small small small changes, we can create a NEW NORM around how we consume, and vastly reduce the amount of unnecessary plastic we put in our oceans.
