Nourishing my baby from my own body is the best feeling…Not to mention all the extra cuddle time🤱❤️👶🏼 . Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely had my fair share of challenging moments while breastfeeding, especially in the beginning! So many people told me “breastfeeding will come naturally“ or “you’ll just know what to do”. That wasn’t the case for me. With my daughter, Ashlyn, the first couple weeks were painful and I felt defeated when I couldn’t get her to latch properly. But then I met with an amazing lactation consultant that helped me figure things out and it was smooth sailing from there! I breastfed my daughter for 19 months and was a bit mournful when we stopped. The second time around I feel so much more confident and comfortable and now I’m trying to take in every precious moment with my little man.
