I have some catching up to do here! Brighton Loreley Mc Mahon graced us with her presence on June 12th at 7:45 pm weighing 7lbs 7oz and measuring almost 20’ inches. She is the sweetest little surprise pandemic baby and we are proud to give her the initials BLM during this revolutionary time in our nation’s history. I’m filled with pride and joy for my two beautiful, healthy, strong daughters.
Is this a pre-kid attractive photo of myself? Absolutely. #tbt The lovely and talented @marissamoss took our photos last year and they make me so happy. I hope we all come away with this with a much larger sense of gratitude, even for the mundane. I miss all of our loved ones and am sending each and every one of you good things today. ❤️
5 years ago on August 1st, I married this guy. I made him wear a tux…in Hawaii…outside. He’s doing a bang up job of being a father and I’m so glad he’s mine. Thanks for cooking, taking care and playing with our daughters, making me go hiking to incredible places and for not going for a girl with a finance job, pearl necklace and stability. I’ve seen it put so eloquently on social media, but man, being anti racist is so much more than that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you are inclusive and what you teach your children. We have lots more work to do and all without the attitude of self righteousness, but humility. Sending love to those who feel like this is insurmountable.
