Joe is a father. A grandfather. A brother. A husband. A partner. We need leadership that looks out for us, the way Joe looks out for his family.
You deserve leadership worthy of you. Honest leadership to bring us back together.
That’s Joe.
“How did you get this number?”
Those were the first words I spoke to Joe when he called me out of the blue on a Saturday in 1975.
I’ll be speaking tonight at the #DemConvention. I hope you’ll tune in!

He accepts.
Yes, so many classrooms are quiet right now. The playgrounds are still. But if you listen closely, you can hear the sparks of change in the air. Brandywine High School
How do you make a broken family whole? The same way you make a nation whole. With love and understanding, and with small acts of kindness. With bravery. With unwavering faith. We show up for each other in big ways and small ones, again and again.
Teaching is not what I do. It’s who I am.
I’ll be giving my #DemConvention speech tonight from my former classroom. Brandywine High School. Room 232. Wilmington, Delaware

What a week. To all the staff and volunteers involved in making this week happen, thank you. And what a magical way to end it. Wilmington, Delaware
Always.

Ready for the 3rd period! Let’s go Flyers 👏👏👏👏👏
My dad, Donald Jacobs, went off to fight in World War II at the age of 17. He returned safely.
Nearly every family felt and still feels the sacrifice of that war.
Today, 75 years later, we remember those who fought and those who never had the opportunity to come home.
We haven’t given up. Brandywine High School
Nothing like Wisconsin Kringle.
Thank you again to the parents and educators we had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
We see you and we hear you.
I’m back. Brandywine High School
How do you make a broken family whole?
Is anyone else excited for this?

We need a president who listens to educators. This is Mr. Christopher Wiggins. Let’s listen to him.
He teaches 2nd grade at Shortlidge Academy in Wilmington, Delaware where I had the pleasure of visiting him on Tuesday. To support his students during this pandemic, Mr. Wiggins, like so many other educators, has made adjustments to his teaching plan in order to prepare for this school year.
Educators everywhere are adapting to teaching remotely. Mr. Wiggins has decided to teach virtually from his classroom. He wants his students to get a sense for what their classroom will look and feel like once they’re back.
His priority is to build community and make his students feel safe. Teachers like Mr. Wiggins make me proud to be an educator. Shortlidge (Evan G.) Academy
