Video 3: after she tried to assault my friend, when we were waiting for the police to arrive some People in the park who knew her started supporting her and playing moral police and asking us if it is our culture to wear sports wear
Video 4: this man in the red checkered shirt and about 10 men with her arrived right before the police did and started threatening us. His name is Anil, and you can clearly hear him threatening me. In my line of work even false news is enough to destroy my career and he threatened me exactly of that and the police stood there and just watched. This is when i decided to go live and have our side of the story put out there in the open
After being in a democracy and following all the norms of social distancing, we were abused and ridiculed by Kavitha Reddy and the mob in Agara Lake for practicing our hoolahoop while wearing sportswear. Despite being polite and trying to solve the problem, the lady hit my friend and used disparaging remarks about me and my friends
Was extremely disappointed with how the police who came to the location behaved , like nothing was wrong and spoke to her with respect while asked us to be quite. The cops stood there while her mob harassed us and even after requesting the police continuously, they decided to stand there and support this (proof on igtv)
Yesterday was really hard and it was so disturbing to go through this
When we went to the police station, everyone there already knew her and spoke to her nicely and saw us like we were wrong. The only police who spoke to us with some respect and told her she was wrong was the inspector is the hsr police station muni reddy, he asked us both to file our respective complaints and he left. We wrote the complaint and gave it to the police. The police present there refused to give us an acknowledgement for the same.
Its not easy being strong around people who are trying to break you, and having to listen to so many people harass us for doing nothing.

Without getting into the details of the incident, what happened to us was wrong. It is high time that society stops harassing women for what we wear, where we go and what we do. We see it happen everyday and we are told to move on. It is disturbing to be continuously subject to such harassment and I do not want any other woman to go through this trauma. We cannot be intimidated in this manner.
I have filed an FIR with the police and I have full faith that a fair investigation will be carried out.
I hope that this incident makes us all reflect on how women are treated and the consequences of moral policing. I hope that there is a better future for us and a safe space for us to just be ourselves and continue doing what we love

Hi everyone.
I really really appreciate all the support I’ve been getting, all the love, all the posts, all the trolls, all the tweets that gave this voice an amplifier. You all have played such a major role in making this a nationwide impact, this is a feather on the cap for all of us as a society and I hope that the horrible incident of Friday results in wider awareness about how moral policing cannot be tolerated in our lovely cosmopolitan city or anywhere else. Let’s be clear, Kavitha Reddy’s apology was not satisfactory or genuine, She had not taken down her posts or tweets for 16 hours after issuing a public apology which shows how casual she was about this apology and had clearly done this under pressure as it was affecting her public image and many of you have also pointed this out. However, I want the focus of this issue to not be on her or me or the incident, I hope this goes a small way in working on greater freedom for women every where around. I’ve consulted with my family and also keeping Kavitha Reddy’s age in mind, I am not interested and don’t want to pusure my case against her and I have formally requested the police yesterday about the same . However, I want to be clear: I still hope that strong action is taken against Anil Reddy and the others with him, who threatened and abused us at the park and made us feel so helpless. NOBODY IN THE WORLD HAS A RIGHT TO MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THAT AND IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ANYMORE
Again I must express my love and gratitude for all the support from all of you, my legal team ( Arjun Rao and Maitreyi Bhat ), and specially want to mention 2 people who were there and available for me throughout all this. Shraddha for all the advice and mental support that you’ve given me and Pavan for just being there by my side. I love you and I couldn’t have done this without you guys.

I want to be bare with you 🤍
Have you ever been connected to something so much that you would never let that go in your life ?
I found my connection when I was in highschool, in that moment I knew we were meant to be
DANCE 💃
I started from a beginner dance class and soon realised that this training is too basic for me and I needed to nourish my skillset in the right place. I found a place where I knew I would get better but I also knew my family couldn’t afford the costs of those classes (and I knew if i asked my dad, he would probably take a loan for me and i really didn’t want that).
So I trained myself till i finished my 10th grade, I would just go to open spaces and dance, just like this.
As soon as I finished my 10th grade, with the basic skillset and confidence I had, I got my first real Job as an Asst. Dance instructor. I took this job cause all the instructors got free training every day of the week in different dance forms from the best teachers in the city. This is where I got better. This is where my skillset actaully got a shape and transformed into beautiful dancing.
Would get out at 8am in the morning to go to college (as in 11th grade), head straight to work from there, finish work, then head to training, finish training and finally get home by 11ish for dinner
Life was hard but it was amazing cause I had dance❤
From then to now it hasn’t been a easy journey but dance has made it simpler
D A N C E is that one thing that no one can ever take away from me, it will live with me as long as I live and i will cherish it all my life
It is my primary source of of vitamin happiness
There are a lot of people to thank on my dancing journey but there is this one person I owe all of this to, cause he didn’t just give me a job, a salary, free training but appreciated me so much along the way and told me that my struggle would surely pay off one day. Thanks @ansulgarg❤, I’ve probably never thanked you enough for this but you are one of the most amazing and positive person to have touched my life
