This morning I’m thinking about choices. Life choices. They define us. I have trouble making choices I have to admit. Especially with where to live and who to be with. When it comes to work or creative decisions I make them fast but for life I take forever. Sometimes I sit on the fence too long and that option just goes away. Also, I think the time I take to decide and contemplate makes me more unhappy. Sometimes no choice is wrong, you just got to pick and stick.
Example when I lived in New York I wanted to come back home to india but it took me 3 years to actually make the choice and go for it. Now I feel maybe I should move away from the city but I’m still thinking…. choices!!!! Some people can just decide, others like me – ponder for days and years 🙂 what about you?

What is the sure shot way to put a SMILE on your face and make you forget all your worries? For me, it’s WATER 💦 Pani 💧 I was born on a ship 🚢 dad was the captain, I spent the first few years of my life in the ocean 🌊 I could swim before I could walk so for me – the water 🚿 any kind – uplifts me. It’s important for us to know the simple things in life that makes us feel good. When we were completely locked down in our apartments, when I felt really really low, I just stood under the shower 🚿 and that lifted my spirits. Feel grateful to be in this pool today!! Dear locals of Goa,
I apologise for not wearing a mask in my earlier post. My rationale was that I was in spots that were absolutely empty or in my own hotel with friends who I am traveling with. I do realise I am setting an example to others and it may seem like I am saying that a mask is not needed in Goa. This is not true.
We must be responsible when around others and wear a mask.
Also the Goa Government has opened its state up for tourism and being a travel content creator I want to stand by travel. Travel is the most affected industry in this pandemic, I want to support it.
I didn’t realise that the locals felt so strongly against having visitors and didn’t want tourists here.
Sorry again Goa locals, I understand your perspective.

I need your help. I’ve been trying to figure out what the right thing to do is here. When I arrived in Goa and talked about tourism I got slammed for encouraging travel. The goa state has now opened even more and removed the mandatory Covid test. All the restaurants and bars are now open. This is justifiably worrisome for the goa locals who fear for their elders. I myself fear for my parents in Mumbai and it makes me so sad that they can’t go anywhere and are locked up like prisoners in their home.
As for travel my opinion is –
covid tests should be mandatory.
We should avoid bars and go to restaurants that practice safety and social distancing.
We must also respect the locals sentiments. The goa locals are terrified even though the government has opened up.
The toursim industry is hit badly and I want to #standwithtravel . People have gone back to work. My work is to make travel and lifestyle content.
I want to continue to make my content respecting the locals – save these travel ideas when it’s safe again for you to travel with your friends and family.

Stop! Stop 🛑 Don’t come to Goa. When I came here, things around me seemed normal but it’s the locals who love their state who educated me that it’s not normal and I’m grateful to them for that. These people have had to sacrifice a lot to make sure the virus does not get worse and I apologise for not being mindful of those sacrifices in my excitement.
After being cooped in for 5 months, I got overwhelmed with the freedom i found in Goa and got carried away because i wanted to make travel content, something I haven’t been able to do for months. I knew Goa relies heavily on tourism so I was trying to do my best to tell people what is open and what’s not. Basically doing my job as a travel content creator but now I realise the reality of Goa and what the Goans really want is to be left alone for now until the situation gets better.

5 star Train or First Class Plane, what do you choose?
This train is the Golden Chariot that runs through Karnataka and ends in Goa. I will post a separate video of the train 🚂 for you. The journey takes 12-14 days.
This plane journey was when I went to Peru 🇵🇪 from india. Mumbai dubai Miami ( then I went to Jamaica 🇯🇲- separate airline but patterned w emirates ) and then Jamaica to Peru 🇵🇪 ( same as above )
